The vision of the San Francisco affiliate chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, is to address the underserved and immense needs and issues of the African American women and girls, located within the city and counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, and Marin. The community issues surrounding health, education, employment, violence, economic development and public policy are central to our committment for community betterment. We strive to create a definitive agenda that affirms the purpose, priorities, and sense of urgency for the full engagment of the sixty founding members who represent corporate, community, civic and government leaders.
We actively seek out and promote gender equity through our goals, activities, plans and programs.
We bring together our political and economic resources, in order to affect positive change in our communities.
We demonstrate respect for, and recognize the accomplishments of and share in the success of women of color.
We strive to create and identify female leaders across our communities.
